Teeth Whitening
Simple tooth whitening procedures are safe, quick, inexpensive, and can help you achieve that 'sparkling smile'.
There are 3 ways to whiten your teeth: the 1-hour ZOOM procedure; a take home kit or a combination of the two.
Smile With Confidence...
For confidence in appearance, whitening technology allows us to promise improvements in yellowing, ageing or stained teeth. For very severely stained teeth, crowns or veneers may be more appropriate.
Considerations
Over the counter tooth whitening agents are available for purchase online and at pharmacies. However, since these products can cause harm to the gums and teeth, it's better to use products that we recommend.

General Information About Teeth Whitening
Tooth whitening
Tooth whitening is the simplest and most effective smile lift of all. The latest whitening techniques are safe and effective treatment options to give you brighter, lighter teeth and a more vibrant, confident and attractive smile.
Why have my teeth discoloured?
Teeth naturally become more yellow as we age, but other factors can also cause yellowing and staining. Tea, coffee, red wine and of course smoking all contribute to the build up of stains, and some medications may also cause discolouration. But with professional tooth whitening it’s possible for most people to achieve a whiter, brighter smile very simply.
Does it hurt?
Both home whitening and power whitening may cause a small increase in sensitivity to hot and cold. This is temporary and settles down quickly once the treatment finishes.
How long does it last?
After whitening, teeth usually maintain their brighter shade very well. Of course, the effects do vary from individual to individual and will be influenced by diet, smoking, tea, coffee and red wine consumption.
Can anyone have whitening?
There are very few cases where teeth can’t be whitened. Remember however that crowns (caps), veneers or other restorations in your teeth won’t change colour and your dentist will discuss this with you before you start treatment.
Over the counter products
Whitening toothpastes can remove superficial stains but can’t change the colour of your teeth. Other products like whitening strips and off the shelf trays may give slight changes in colour but they’re not as effective as professional treatments.
